A few hours after my previous post, Adena’s Directions Magazine followed up with a no nonsense issue that included a great article on KML and the guys at Safe Software. Thanks Adena, that’s useful information.
My goal is to place a magnifying glass on the sensationalism practiced by a vocal minority of the GIS press and blogosphere. Not to suppress the discussion, but rather to add another viewpoint. I believe there is a silent majority who share my perspective. That silent majority works diligently with GIS to meet the needs of their organization and their community. I welcome their e-mail and posting suggestions.
Remove identies and histories from the situation, leaving only the discourse. Associated with GIS for more than 10 years. Any resemblance to actual persons, living or dead, is unintentional and purely coincidental.
